FALL PROGRAMS REGISTRATION
Basketball – COED, Grades K thru 12 - First come, first served. We will be forming teams in divisions based upon demand. Practice can begin in December and the season runs thru March. Program is held Monday thru Friday, one or two evenings per week. Includes shirt, shorts and medals. We are an authorized Jr. NBA / WNBA League. Parents are encouraged to act as coaches, assistant coaches or division commissioners. (We need you). If you have any questions or wish to act as a volunteer, please call the PAL office.
Fee - $80.00 (family discount - 2nd & 3rd child, $5.00 off).
Bowling - Ages 4 & up—COED—Divisions—Bumpers, Bantams, Juniors & Seniors. Fee $35. + Weekly bowling fees. Bowling will be held Saturday mornings. Bumpers & Bantams $7.50 per week, Juniors & Seniors $9.50 per week. Includes: Free shoes, bowling shirt, seasonal parties and trophy / medals.
Horseback Riding– (Grades 1 and Up) Come join our exciting instructional riding program which will be a first come first served registration basis and include the fun-dementias of Riding, Tacking and Horsemanship. The Program will be held at the Indian Head Ranch-Jericho Take., Huntington and will consist of 6 – ˝ hour, once weekly sessions to be available both on selected weekday afternoons and weekends. Four registrants per class. Program runs October and November. Fee $185.00
Karate - Ages 7—18 yrs.—COED—Learn the art of self-defense and discipline While having fun! Classes held on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Memorial Education Center starting in October. Session Info: Beginners 5PM, Intermediate 6PM & Advanced 7PM. Fee $50.00 initial + $75.00 every three months.
Tennis - Grades 2 thru 10 - COED, Lessons on modern indoor tennis courts with professional tennis instruction. Bring racquets and sneakers (balls will be provided). Classes at Sportime,101 Norcross Ave., Bethpage (933-8500).10 registrants to one instructor per class. These are considered beginner classes although everyone is welcome to join. Classes on Sunday evenings at 6PM. Program runs for eight weekly one-hour sessions. Age groups 7, 8 & 9 and the other 10 and older. Fee - $110.00
Twirling - Ages 5 thru 18 yrs.—COED, Students will learn all aspects of competitive world Class baton twirling. Registered instructors who are also a lot of fun! Levittown PAL Twirlers, are currently SETA & Star Power Grand Champions and will be competing regionally and nationally again this year as well as hosting local recitals. Classes for new students will be held on Tuesdays 6:15 PM or 7:15 PM. One baton and T-shirt included. Fee - $50.00 initial + $75.00 every three months.
Wrestling - Grades 1st thru 6th - If you want to participate in a program which focuses on the Individual and develops a unique sense of self-fulfillment through personal achievement, then Join our wrestling program. Wrestling is an analytical sport that brings together the Mind and the body’s speed, agility and strength. Guest Clinicians will provide specific skills training.
Guest Clinicians will include; Vougar Oroujov – 1992 & 96 Olympic Medalist and 1995 World Champion, Craig Vitagliano - 3 x Nassau County Champion, New York State Champion and National Freestyle Champion, Rob Anspach - Hofstra University Associate Head Coach and qualified two time NCAA participant and Al Bevilacqua. Programs run October thru March. Optional Tournaments held outside of our locations will require wrestling shoes and additional fees (typically $15.00 to $25.00). The Program will be held at Salk Middle School. Fee - $95.00
